Great selection! I love that long tracking shot film too.

Hey, thanks Brian. For some reason 1904 was one of those years that was really, really hard to find a film to cover. Luckily I stumbled on the LOC site. Suggestions are always welcome.

re: the tracking shot. I watched it a lot of times. The Cooper-Hewiit lamp only reaches just so far and as a result there is this spooky shadow around the outer edges of the shot. While the tracking makes me think of Wells and Hitch, the lighting reminds me of films shot underwater.
